Christopher Riley, the Strategic Operations Manager at The FISTA, focuses on driving business development initiatives. With a distinguished background in both military service and civilian achievements, Chris brings a wealth of expertise to his current role.
Born and raised in Metro Detroit, Michigan, Chris’s journey took a significant turn in July 2023 when he retired from the Army at Fort Sill, setting up his home in Elgin. Over the course of an 23-year military career, Chris progressively advanced through various roles, ultimately achieving the prestigious position of First Sergeant of the 15th Transportation Company, leading and supporting 205 Soldiers. His primary focus throughout his military tenure encompassed operations management, logistics, and transportation.
During his remarkable military career, Chris demonstrated extraordinary commitment, undertaking five deployments to regions of active conflict. His exceptional dedication and contributions earned him over 40 military and civilian awards, including esteemed recognitions such as the Order of Saint Barbra and the Order of the Royal Defuzilier.
Having experienced diverse cultures and environments, Chris has lived in several states and countries, including Germany, Korea, Japan, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Kansas, Hawaii, and finally, Oklahoma. This exposure has enriched his perspective and further refined his skills in adapting to varying situations.
Chris’s intellectual pursuits have also earned him memberships in esteemed organizations such as Alpha Sigma Lambda and the Golden Key International Honor Society, showcasing his commitment to academic excellence.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Chris finds joy in spending quality time with his family. They share a passion for exploring the country, embarking on hikes on local trails, and indulging in the arts through attending concerts and theater performances.
