Greg McKinney is a lifelong resident of Lawton Ft. Sill and graduate of Cameron University with a Bachelore’s degree in Business Administration (BBA). While attending Cameron he received the Who’s Who Award which recognizes the top one percent of college students nationally. McKinney was also honored with the inclusion of his biography in the 28th Annual Edition of The National Dean’s List which honors America’s outstanding college students for academic achievements. Cameron’s School of Business issued a scholarship on his behalf toward his educational funding. While attending Cameron he was involved in S.I.F.E, (Students in Free Enterprise) a nation-wide organization on campuses that serve community and business. Greg obtained a Bachelor degree of Business Administration as well as an Associates Degree of Science from Cameron University.
He began his career in construction just over 25 years ago, initially focused on wood structure framing. After graduation he secured employment as a superintendent of a local housing development company. There he oversaw the new construction of both custom and spec homes. For the past 11 years, he has been working in commercial construction as project manager for a locally owned retail chain within the petroleum sector. In this role, he oversaw all aspects of construction projects from due diligence during land acquisition to completion. He focused on Compressed natural gas stations on turnpikes across OK and private/public facility for City of Lawton.
Greg and family attend First Baptist Church of Lawton. Rebecca works on Fort Sill as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is a recipient of the Molly Pitcher award. Their two daughters are student athletes, and the family enjoys spending time together.
