Hope Harris

Meet Hope Harris — the friendly face that greets you at FISTA’s STEM Lab and the unofficial hype-woman for all things science, innovation, and community. A proud Southwest Oklahoma native, Hope grew up surrounded by strong community roots (her grandpa and uncle both served as fire chiefs in Lawton!) and she brings that same spirit of service and connection to her role at FISTA.

Currently a sophomore at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Hope is pursuing a degree in Secondary Education with a minor in Physical Science. Her big dream? To inspire future generations in the classroom — and on the court. A former high school basketball player, she hopes to one day coach, blending her love of sports with her passion for teaching.

Before joining FISTA, Hope flexed her leadership skills as Assistant General Manager at Urban Air, where she learned how to juggle just about everything (sometimes literally, given the trampolines). Now, she channels that same energy into helping students, teachers, and visitors feel at home in the STEM Lab.

The second youngest of seven siblings, Hope is no stranger to teamwork, friendly competition, and making her voice heard at the dinner table. When she’s not at FISTA or hitting the books, you’ll find her hanging out with her two dogs, cheering on basketball games, or exploring new adventures in Lawton.

With her bubbly personality, community pride, and unstoppable enthusiasm, Hope is the perfect first impression for anyone walking through FISTA’s doors.
