At the FISTA STEM Center, we don’t just talk STEM — we immerse creators and students in real-world industry.

Connecting local creators and students directly with the real-world technologies and career pathways housed within the FISTA. Through open labs, mentorships, internships, and hands-on learning, we’re building the next generation of innovators, engineers, and technologists right here in Southwest Oklahoma.

The Makerspace @ FISTA

Where Imagination Becomes Engineering

Our public-access Makerspace is a cornerstone of the STEM Academy. It’s where students, artisans, and lifelong learners can bring their ideas to life.

This state-of-the-art facility includes:

  • 40+ high-end 3D printers
  • Laser cutters and a water-jet table
  • Full woodworking and metal fabrication shop
  • Electronics suite
  • 5-axis CNC and metal additive manufacturing equipment

Whether you’re prototyping your first invention or learning a new skill, the Makerspace at the FISTA is where learning becomes doing.
