Joelle Jolly
Joelle Jolly serves as Superintendent of Great Plains Technology Center (GPTC) in Lawton, Oklahoma, where she leads efforts to expand workforce training, strengthen career pathways, and develop partnerships that advance economic growth across Southwest Oklahoma. Since joining GPTC in 2005, she has held key leadership roles including Director of Student Support Services, Director of Instruction, and Deputy Superintendent.
Jolly earned her bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Before her tenure at GPTC, she served as Senior Director of Operations at Marie Detty Youth and Family Services, where she gained extensive experience in organizational leadership and community-based programming.
In addition to her work at GPTC, Jolly has held leadership roles in numerous civic, educational, and professional organizations. She has served as President of both the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education Guidance Division and the Lawton Public School Foundation Board, as well as Vice President of Fund Distribution for the United Way of Lawton-Fort Sill. Her service also includes key roles with the Lawton Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Junior Leadership Lawton. A graduate of Leadership Lawton (Class X) and several Oklahoma CareerTech leadership programs—including Leadership CareerTech, CareerTech Tech Cap, and CareerTech Women in Leadership—Jolly continues to invest in advancing education and workforce development. She currently represents the region as a member of the Lawton Economic Development Corporation Board and the Fires Innovation Science and Technology Accelerator Development Trust Authority.
Widely recognized for her collaborative leadership and dedication to student and community success, Jolly continues to champion innovative programs that align education with workforce and industry needs. Her work is driven by a vision of fostering excellence, service, and sustainable growth for Southwest Oklahoma.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Jolly is active in her church, an avid music enthusiast, and a strong supporter of local arts, youth initiatives, and civic organizations.
