Amelia Blanco

Amelia “Meli” Blanco brings a well-rounded, people-centered approach to security, shaped by hands-on experience, a strong sense of community, and a commitment to ongoing growth. Born and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma, she began working locally in customer service at a young age and launched her security career at Central Plaza. In that fast-paced, public environment, she developed professionalism, situational awareness, and a deep sense of responsibility to those around her.

Her educational background includes early college studies in Psychology and Business, along with specialized training in Active Threat Response and Diversity and Inclusion. As a CLEET-certified security professional, she combines technical preparedness with emotional intelligence.

After several years at Central Plaza, Meli transitioned into her current role at FISTA, where she is recognized for her conflict resolution skills and commitment to creating safe, respectful environments. Outside of work, she is a dedicated artist and musician and enjoys staying active at the gym.
