Raegan Martin-Teakell
Raegan Martin-Teakell, our modern-day Ms. Frizzle, is a passionate STEM advocate and lifelong learner who brings fourteen years of teaching experience to her role as STEM Coordinator at FISTA. With both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Cameron University and more than two decades rooted in the Lawton community, Raegan has made it her mission to ignite curiosity, inspire confidence, and prove that STEM is for everyone.
A Solar System Ambassador for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and recipient of the NASA Oklahoma Space Consortium’s STELLAR Star award, Raegan has a track record of turning science into something unforgettable. She also served as an OSU CEAT DoD STEM Grant Facilitator, working directly with teachers to bring hands-on STEM strategies back to their classrooms. Her excellence has been recognized statewide as one of the OERB Top Twenty Teachers in Oklahoma, a two-time Teacher of the Year, and a “Teacher of Today” honoree by the Masonic Fraternity of Oklahoma.
But Raegan’s spark doesn’t stop at the lab or classroom. She co-owns a telecommunications business with her husband, blending her love of education with real-world technology. She’s also a proud mom, an antique-store treasure hunter, an escape-room enthusiast, and a self-declared foodie always ready to chase down her next great meal.
At FISTA, Raegan is more than a coordinator — she’s a force of energy and imagination, creating opportunities that make STEM come alive. With her enthusiasm, creativity, and yes, a little sparkle, she’s determined to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators to dream big and dive in.
