Sidney Lyons

Sidney Lyons serves as STEM Educator for FISTA, where she is passionate about making science, technology, engineering, and mathematics both accessible and fun. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from East Central University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction of Science from the University of Texas at Arlington. With six years of experience teaching math and science in public schools, she has built a career around helping students discover their strengths.

Her goal is to spark curiosity, build confidence, and open doors for students to dream big in STEM fields. Outside the classroom, Sidney enjoys time with her fiancé and children, exploring new places, playing games, and experimenting in the kitchen.
