Optical Engines

Optical Engines was founded in 2005 by Don Sipes, a former member of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Amoco Laser Company. With a strong background in photonics and laser technology, Sipes brought decades of innovation, including contributions to the Mars Sample Return Mission and the first successful high-efficiency TEM00 output from a diode-pumped solid-state laser. Today, Optical Engines continues to advance cutting-edge photonic and laser solutions.
